Ground up construction of a detached Accessory Dwelling Unit for a homeowner who wanted flexible guest and income space. I helped clarify the scope, coordinated vendors, and managed bids so the owner received solid pricing and a clear schedule.
During the build I reviewed proposals, tracked changes, and supported key decisions so the project stayed aligned with the budget and the owner’s goals. The result is a modern, efficient ADU with thoughtful storage, natural light, and a cohesive interior finish that feels both practical and welcoming.
Kedzie Home AirBNB
Full set up and launch of a short term rental in an established neighborhood. I worked with the owners to define their target guest profile, plan the budget, and select furnishings that balance durability, comfort, and style.
My role included sourcing and coordinating vendors, overseeing installation, and creating a simple operating plan so the home was guest ready on day one. The finished space feels calm and curated, and it supports both guest experience and the financial goals for the property.
Dramatic Bathroom Renovation
A dated guest bathroom was reimagined as a quiet retreat. I refined the scope, collaborated with all the key trades (contractor, plumber, electrician, tiler), and phased the work to fit their budget and timeline.
We combined bold materials with a practical layout, using walnut, marble, and deep green tile to create a rich but functional space, while I monitored choices that could impact cost, maintenance, and long term use. The result is a bathroom that feels like a small sanctuary and works smoothly for everyday life.
